What are your business hours?
We do not keep regular business hours. We book tours and workshops when we're called. It just takes a call to make an appointment preferably in advance. This gives us all better use of our time and follow through with a plan to count on. On occasion same day tours can be accommodated. Your credit card reserves your tour or workshop or you may arrange to send prepayment in advance. There's no charge to visit our gift shop, it just takes a call and appointment.

Can we just stop by and take a look around your gardens?
It's seeing, smelling, tasting, feeling and hearing about herbs and spices, with fascinating history, storytelling, demonstrations and refreshments that creates the ‘experience’ and value of a guided tour. Book a tour. We guarantee you'll have an inspiring time.

If we booked a tour and couldn't make it can we get a refund?
Like buying a ticket to a benefit dinner, a concert, or a movie ... refunds are not available. Substitutions are encouraged.

Can we bring children to your gardens?
The experiences here are remarkable for children and the whole family. Grandparents, aunts and uncles traveling with parents and children tell us our tour is an experience that everyone can participate in and enjoy. Our gardens are peaceful. Our pathways and beds are carefully maintained. It's important that children walk gently, not run, kick up the gravel, climb into beds, or walk on retainer walls that edge the gardens. Closely attended children are most welcome.

Do we get a Garden Theater Tour with our Wreath Making Workshop?
The Garden Theater & Tour is longer and more involved than the tour we give with a Wreath Making Workshop. With Wreath Making you get a short tour meeting the plants you will use in your project.

Can we bring our dog to your gardens?
We love dogs but we ask that you do not bring them to our gardens. It keeps the focus on the tour rather than the pet. It's an issue of safety, cleanliness and wishing the best for our gardens and your pet. Guide dogs for the blind are the exception.

Can we bring our drinks into your gardens?
Our policy is if you bring it in kindly pack it out. This is not a good place to leave plastic, styrofoam or diapers. We appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Can we smoke in your gardens?

Smoking changes the experience of garden aromatherapy. Plants have uplifting, soothing and refreshing qualities. If you must smoke please do so by your car and kindly take all remnants with you.

Can we receive cell phone calls in your garden?
This time with nature offers a bit of peace for everyone far from the maddening crowds. We ask that you turn your cell phones off. If you need to call or receive calls we ask that you do so before or after our tour near your car.

Is your garden open year-round?
We are active February through October. November through January our gardens are in winter slumber. You are still welcome to call and book a tour or visit the gift shop.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness visiting our private home and gardens. Rosemary and Tim
