Rosemary Nightingale has
lectured at
the San Francisco and Seattle Flower & Garden Shows,
National Herb Conferences and International Symposiums. With over 25
years as an educator she now
delights in teaching at her gardens.
A perch in a walnut tree, a
raft on the ditch bank, and fortress in a plum orchard were early
connections with the earth that sparked a lifetime of imagination,
creativity and appreciation. Rosemary recollects the best education of
her life was growing up on a small, family farm in the San Joaquin
Valley of California. And yes her mother really named her Rosemary and
Nightingale is the English translation of
Nachtigall.
